Our Mission

Through music in our schools, we empower our students to develop 21st century skills in order to become productive members of a diverse and changing society. It is our mission to have a consistent and thriving music programs in the FNSBSD.  Music education promotes critical thinking and problem solving, collaboration, creativity, initiative, self-direction, leadership, and responsibility.  These developed qualities provide our students with the building blocks to ensure successful futures.

Music education can help spark a child’s imagination or ignite a lifetime of passion. When you provide a child with new worlds to explore and challenges to tackle, the possibilities are endless. Music education should not be a privilege for a lucky few, it should be a part of every child’s world of possiblity.
